Force restart your iPod classic. Put the Hold switch firmly in the unlocked position. Press and hold the Menu and Center (or Select) buttons for 8 seconds, or until you see the Apple logo. i have the 5th gen video ipod and at first my songs just stopped out of nowhere. yesterday i restored my ipod and it deleted the songs off my ipod when i tried to sync the songs back on my ipod from the itunes library it said ”required disc couldn’t be found” and ”required file could’nt be found” i have no idea what to do..!!!!!
