12 years ago. Save. We were just in Cesky Krumlov. Beautiful medieval town. I think it is definitely worth the stop. We were bound from Passau to Prague, but hired a car to detour through Krumlov. There is an excellent guide there who would have plenty to show you, even with the castle closed.

We used the Comfy Tour shuttle from Munich to Cesky Krumlov and back. I highly recommend Comfy Tour's excellent service. Our shuttle driver was prompt, polite and a careful driver. The van was clean and comfortable. This was a great way to travel as it was very relaxing and stress free as they offer door to door service. Five Stars!!
We are in CK for one night in the last week of this month. While doing research on some of the best places to take pictures, I read about this beautiful view from a café at the castle park. I understand that while the castle is closed now, the castle grounds are accessible. Would the café in question be open for taking the pics. Regards
